Hello! My name is Tom and I have a degree from Imperial College London in BSc Geophysics and an Enhanced DBS Check. I have been teaching and tutoring for around 3 years and now specialise in GCSE Maths and Physics online teaching. I currently teach Maths and Physics privately and also for schools programmes via MyTutor. I have also taught at Fire Tech Camp for around 3 years including on Oman’s prestigious National Youth Program.
I cover Edexcel, AQA and OCR and can help with exam technique as well as content. I received A*s for my Maths and Physics GCSE’s and know the importance combining knowledge with technique. I like to build a good relationship with my students where they feel comfortable and relaxed and then we work as a team to get the best exam results. I take a big involvement and share the responsibility in how well my students do. I am very patient in my teaching and know there are many different ways to explain things. Each student is different and my teaching always accounts for this.
Before you commit to anything I offer a taster session to get to know you and to discuss what you need help with in more detail. This is also the time for you to experience online tutoring itself to see if its for you.
